Model Context Protocol

ScoutWizz AI Connector

Ask your AI assistant about players, statistics and your own scouting reports. The connector gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and your own agents secure, read-mostly access to ScoutWizz — within the permissions you grant.

Connect

Claude, ChatGPT and other apps with connectors

  1. Open the app's connector settings and add a custom connector.
  2. Paste the connector URL above.
  3. Sign in with your ScoutWizz account (or an API key you were given) and allow access.

Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop and your own agents

These connect with an API key. Organization admins create keys in the ScoutWizz app under AI connector → API keys.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http scoutwizz https://mcp.scoutwizz.com/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer sw_live_…"
Cursor / Claude Desktop (config)
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "scoutwizz": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.scoutwizz.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer sw_live_…" }
    }
  }
}
Any HTTP client
curl https://mcp.scoutwizz.com/mcp \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sw_live_…" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'

What you can ask

  • “Find left backs under 21 in the Croatian league with at least 3 assists this season.”
  • “Who are younger, cheaper centre-backs with a similar profile to Domagoj Vida?”
  • “Rank U23 strikers in the Eredivisie by expected goals per 90.”
  • “Summarize what our scouts wrote about this player and compare it with the ScoutWizz consensus.”

Your AI app only sees the tools your permissions allow. Organization tools (reports, notes) are available to ScoutWizz organizations only.

Security and privacy

  • Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; API keys are shown once and stored only as hashes. Every connection and key can be revoked instantly by your organization admin.
  • Each organization sees only its own reports and notes. Access always follows the signed-in user's membership and your subscription.
  • Consensus reports are anonymized aggregates: they exist only when at least three different clubs reported on a player, and never reveal clubs, scouts, counts or wording. Organizations decide whether their published reports contribute.
  • Text written by users (report comments, notes) is marked as untrusted data for the AI, so it is not followed as instructions.
  • Requests are rate limited and counted against a monthly quota. Your AI provider processes the answers it receives under your agreement with that provider.

Availability

The AI connector is included in the Club Pro plan and can be added to other plans. Clubs, agencies and data partners without a ScoutWizz organization can get an API account — contact us at support@scoutwizz.com.
